Inventables, Easel 'cloud based' Routing/engraving software, and g-code generator.

Inventables   is a place to check out.

Classes too:  https://www.inventables.com/collections/29

I am impressed with their Easel software.  It is a bit lacking in import schemes but the workaround is to 'Render your model' in Rhino and save the…

Kelso: Fabrication Tools available for all the attendees

The Kelso Fab Lab is a model for anyone wanting to host a workshop.   Add some 'hungry teachers' , some Rhino training, and good things happen.  Plus don't leave out the host (Cory Torppa) who put it all together.

The List:  (student helpers for teachers and a stack of materials to 'play' with was important too)

5 hobby style 3d printers; Makerbots and…

Chronology:  curves, surfaces, polysurfaces:  Clean curves lead to clean surfaces ... lead to clean polysurfaces ... give you clean…

Eddie Paul interviews are worth a listen. The first one, in particular.

Eddie Paul interviews

The first one is an 'interview with himself'.  A great listen for students.  How he got started with his own ventures and businesses.

The second one is an interview with Kevin Pasko about his 'process' for designing with various software.
