CNC Plasma Monogram Signs

Here's a monogram sign project that my kids complete at the end of the 'Editing Geometry' section in the Level 1 Training Manual.  This is their first project on the CNC plasma, and one that has been popular with parents.

Kelso 101 and 102 sessions Summer 2015

Some of my thoughts as I put these sessions together:  (some one-liners)

"Tips, Tricks, Clarifications" was the phrase I posted on the whiteboard.   All of us gather this stuff as we watch another person model.  Have a notepad handy so you can jot down some of these things for your own learning. How about using 'Notes' command in Rhino for this?

Skis and Snowboards Built in the classroom

For the last 9 years I have been creating a ski building system that lends itself to school construction.  Production skis are built in presses but that is expensive and creates a single ski type.  The Research and Development teams of ski companies use vacuumed rocker tables to create on of a kind skis.  This lends itself to school since it is the design and construction of their own ski that matters.…
