Making a thick veneer & bookmatched layout

A downloadable document to get you started. It is created as if you might use your cnc router to fabricate the parts.

A few things to think about as you work with this idea: 

      Create simple planar curves   

      Extrude planar curves

      Boolean Split the model with the extruded curves

      Add materials to the model to create a rendered model that will look like it is made        with two different woods

     

    Now, get out in the shop and make some sawdust.
