Lego Block Model & Manufacture: Measure, Model, Machine, Mold, Cast

Overview:   

With cnc desktop mills and routers, we have decided it is time to dig up

some old and new projects.

Projects that require precision measuring, precision modeling, & precision machining. 

The Process:

Measure an existing Lego-block and create the Model.

Create toolpaths and machine a piece of machinable wax on your cnc mill or router.

Create a mold of the machined model.

Create a casting of the mold.

The Tests: 

              Does it fit?   

                        Does it work?   

                               Does it meet or exceed your design criteria / constraints?
