Shopbot and Rhino are a great combination! Me and my students have made around 30 guitars so far. The original files came from WWW.guitarbuilding.org (free to download for everyone). We are taking the basic template file then modifying the profile to match the style we are after. We then generate a tool path followed by cutting them out on the ShopBot CNC router. We cut out the bodies, necks and even do the fret boards on our laser cutter. Just have to buy the hardware.
The CNC is the easy part, afterwards it is alot of sweat and sawdust as we shape, shape and sand. Most students will add to the guitars a belly cut and arm relief.
Currently working on a Fly V style guitar that I call "Copperhead" after the rattle snake. I was able to get a foam prototype cut out today and should get the real thing started after a few tweaks.

Are you making these with a CNC router?
