Rhino in Education

a place to shine a light on the work of students and teachers

2nd project that I added this semester following the tutorial sections on Rhino User interface introduction and 2D geometry.  Students created a laser cut bowl.  This bowl is made from cherry that the student milled up in the shop to 1/4" and then cut on the laser.  He edge sanded every other ring for the effect you see.  Had students create bowls in the shape of a dinosaur, mickey mouse, batman logo, etc.  Fun, quick project for students to get used to working with lines, offset, polygons, trim, split, gumball, etc.
